DESCRIPTION: The Phoenix, rising out of the fire, leaves behind its magical ashes for the earth. We take some of those ashes and create this smokey tea.
INGREDIENTS: Lapsang Souchong Black Tea
CAFFEINE LEVEL: High
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: 1 tsp per 8 oz. water, boiling° for 2-4 minutes
RE-BREW: 1-2 times
BREWING SKILL LEVEL: 3
Pre-Bagged: Pre-bagged means that we put the tea in individual tea bags for you. Each size will be divided into 2.5 grams per tea bag, or:

WHEN ORDERS GET SHIPPED
Orders get shipped out every Wednesday. Orders from Monday to Sunday are made and packaged on Monday and Tuesday, then shipped Wednesday. Other days are added if an over abundance of orders occurs.
WHY SHIP LIKE THIS
There's a number of practical reasons. The company has a workforce of one person, consolidating orders saves hours every week. Time is also needed to make the teas, coffee, and soaps (A tea typically has to "sit" for about 2 days before it can be packaged). We also need to frequently do inventory to reorder supplies and ingredients. When we were doing daily orders, many orders were frequently delayed by up to a week because of this, so the once a week method saw little change for many people.

ArchiveAnon (Porter, US) Definitely was not disappointed by this. Reviews before mine said it was strong and it is, and I love it. If you like the smell of charcoal grilling (without additives like lighter fluid tainting it) like I do, it'll probably be up your alley. The smokey flavor is definitely overpowering any standard tea flavor however, just keep that in mind. The aroma you get with each sip is amazing though if you like that sorta thing.

Andrew Very strong, smoky flavor just as advertised. Very earthy, too. Unfortunately it doesn't agree with my palate as it comes off almost like leather. Too strong a flavor for me, but if you like the "AND THEN, EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN THE FIRE NATION ATTACKED." blend then you're likely going to like this one too.

Violet This is a campfire deep in the mountains in a cup. The pine is earthy and refreshing as the smokey flavor soothes your soul. If you hold your cup close and close your eyes on a cold day, it's like a misty morning after you've just stoked the fire back to life to make breakfast, the pine sap snapping in the rekindled flame.
