LORE
The war raged on, and she couldn’t be happier. For centuries, her people of The Fire Kingdom watched at all the other nations squandered their beauty and their resources, living meager, pathetic lifestyles; all the while forgetting about the crimes they committed so long ago. Once her father launched his war of conquest, the initial resistance was weak. Soon, the other Nations put up a strong front. Not merely wishing to live on the sidelines, she took command of her own forces, then took the fight to their enemies. Many times, she had a brush with death, but every time she came out triumphant.
Sometimes she wondered if what she was doing was the right thing. If her father had truly made the right call. She would occasionally look back at a smoldering village, nothing but ashes in her wake, and wonder where is the beauty that her kingdom claimed they would spread? Then she remembers; like a phoenix, greatness rises from the ashes. She remembers the stories of old; of how The former Fire Nation was once burned to the ground by their enemies, and how they had to claw their way out of the wreckage of their lives to rebuild, centuries ago. Were they now continuing an endless cycle of violence? Or were they the equal and opposite reaction to an injustice not answered long ago?
The world was comfortable, complicit, and had forgotten their crimes. And Then, Everything Changed When The Fire Nation Attacked.
SHIPPING DATES
WHEN ORDERS GET SHIPPED
Orders get shipped out every Wednesday. Orders from Monday to Sunday are made and packaged on Monday and Tuesday, then shipped Wednesday. Other days are added if an over abundance of orders occurs.
WHY SHIP LIKE THIS
There's a number of practical reasons. The company has a workforce of one person, consolidating orders saves hours every week. Time is also needed to make the teas, coffee, and soaps (A tea typically has to "sit" for about 2 days before it can be packaged). We also need to frequently do inventory to reorder supplies and ingredients. When we were doing daily orders, many orders were frequently delayed by up to a week because of this, so the once a week method saw little change for many people.
Super smoky and delicious. Made me want to watch Avatar.
A super smokey scent, yet the flavor is great! I always add a bit of honey and for this tea, this is the correct move. Great Tea. Great Company
Pretty tasty tea, not too strong not too weak. Will probably be getting it again.
The quality is incredibly good, and if smoky is your jam, you'll love this tea. It's not my preference, so for me it's 2-3/5, but my husband loves smokiness, and he likes this tea, so my rating is a compromise between the two in my house who've tried it. For reference, my two favorite teas from here are the Butterscotch and The Earth Kingdom (oolong & almond), so take my flavor preferences as you will.
Surprisingly good, first time I got any black tea that doesn't require sugar to offset bitterness, indeed has a very smoky flavour and scent - I will say that the scent of the dry tea caught me off-guard, but once brewed, the scent mellows down a lot.
